Year 3 are so lucky to be part of the Life on the Edge Project. Nicky from South Devon AONB came into school today to introduce the project to our class. It is a project to restore wildflower meadows to create better habitats for 26 rare and endangered insects. The project is in the development phase and has been funded by the National Lottery Fund and Wembury has been identified as one of 5 hotspots across the South Devon Coast. 

This morning we played some games to learn all about insects and flowers and how they are pollinated, as well as designing our own minibeasts. We had lots of fun!
